This course will prepare you gain a qualification from one of the world’s most prestigious, widely recognised horticultural bodies, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) in the United Kingdom. The RHS Advanced Certificate is an excellent standalone qualification, or a sound starting point for advanced study in horticulture.
These studies prepare you to sit the RHS Advanced Certificate in Horticulture examinations, including the practical examination which must be undertaken in the UK. This course gives you greater depth of knowledge and horticultural skill, and if you want to go even further, it forms the first stage of the RHS Diploma in Horticulture. This RHS Advanced Certificate is an accredited award through the Qualifications Curriculum Authority (Accreditation No 100/5844/8) in the UK.
To complete this you must take the modules as listed below.
The Practical Horticulture module may be studied on line from anywhere in the world.; but the RHS exams for this can only be taken in the UK. ( An alertnative option is to undertake the practical exam through Warnborough’s exam system -anywhere in the world – in which case an Advanced Certificate will be awarded by Warnborough instead of the RHS).

Examinations:
a) Three written exams, each 2 hours duration (may be sat in any country)
b) One 3.5 hour practical exam
Note: Exam fees are additional. To obtain official passes and the award from the RHS, you must apply directly to the RHS in England and sit exams with them. Warnborough will accept a pass with the RHS as a credit with Warnborough.
Duration of this award is 800 hours.
